Find out in this zip file - see video - which contains 11 animated slide packs covering each of the GCSE Maths – Algebra Graph topics from basic y = mx + c through curved to real life and higher grade trigonometric graphs. Each pack has the same layout, namely Context and Summary including on-line quiz link ; then Detail like gradients and plotting, and golden rules like graph transformation inside and outside the f(x) bracket; then around 10 worked solutions per pack (110 in the whole file) for both simple and “wordy” questions, followed by seven quick closing questions. With the animations I’ve set, you can control the speed at which you reveal for example the next working steps and final answer to a problem.
This file can be used by students, teachers, or tutors for lesson plan slideshows or as material for revision cards and is part of a set of eight common-format files covering all the GCSE Maths topics and a “managing the exam” pack. The whole set has around 70 slide packs… There are also two Excel interactive multichoice quiz files with 1000 Maths questions and 400 Maths for Science questions.
My approach after 100’s of hours of using and fine tuning these materials with pupils is to combine business IT-like professionalism with laser-like 100% syllabus compatibility yet build into the Maths some unusual material such as sport, pop music and popular films
