This is an interesting resource which is basically a grid with lots of letters, numbers, surds etc in it. There are letters A - Z across the top and numbers 1 - 12 down the side. As suggested you could give students a few grid references and they have to multiply the contents or sum the contents. A good idea for consolidating how to simplify expressions and also how to use grid references. You could use this as a starter when studying any algebra topic since these skills are so important. You could copy this onto a flipchart slide to save on copying it for a whole group. Thank you for sharing.
