Georgia O’Keeffe, a renowned artist, was born in 1887 in Wisconsin and developed a love for art at a young age. In 1949, O’Keeffe became the first female artist to have a retrospective exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. She continued to paint until her death in 1986, leaving behind an enduring legacy. Today, her artwork can be seen at the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum in Santa Fe.
