Issues of Good and Evil complete Unit

This Scheme covers all of the issues of good and evil for the new EDUQAS spec. Five powerpoint with separate worksheets ideal for weaker students, complete with a variety of activities. There is also a complete work-booklet which covers all of the lesson ideal for revision which comes with an additional page of exam style questions and a literacy task. This scheme covers:  What makes an act 'wrong'?  Religious and ethical responses: relative and absolute morality, conscience, virtues, sin  Beliefs and attitudes about the causes of crime and the aims of punishment: justice, retribution, deterrence and reformation  The treatment of criminals and the work of prison reformers and prison chaplains  Varied Conservative and Liberal Christian responses to the Death Penalty, including interpretations of Christian teaching  Examples of forgiveness arising from personal beliefs.  Philosophical challenges posed by belief in God, free will and the existence of evil and suffering
