This resource is a PowerPoint which consists of loads of activities to help revise grammar, in preparation for the Year 6 SATs. It also contains some of the spellings that Year 6 need to be able to spell, as outlined in the National Curriculum.
The PowerPoint is used as a class directed activity, the second PowerPoint is a resource to be printed out and given to each pupil, which consists of every other slide. This is so pupils can do the task set and then the teacher can show the next slide which reveals the asnwers. The PowerPoint has a pale yellow background, which accounts for dyslexic learners.
I used this resource with a Year 6 Class in April and they loved it! I made this lesson interactive too, for example the pronouns task, I placed pronouns around the room and the pupils had to go and find the correct one for each sentence and stick it in the box.
