The Lesson is themed on Lord of the Rings to engage the pupils in the subject content. Included therefore is a map worksheet of 'Middle Earth' for pupils to use in order to complete activities on grid references and write a journey log making use of grid referencing and identifying symbols to practice their map skills. The main task is differentiated and there is a differentiated map for LA.
