These questions, which can be tailored and applied to the story or piece of text your class is reading, develop a child’s comprehension skills by developing their ability to predict, explain and pick out key vocabulary.
Top Tip #1- Cut these stars out and stick them to lollipop sticks to use as a plenary to guided reading sessions or to act as extension questions, which can independently be selected by pupils.
