Halloween Art/Craft

This Halloween Art Worksheet will bring seasonal cheer to your classroom! Students are tasked to sketch and create a Halloween Hanging Wall Art. Students are introduced to the famous Artist Matisse. They are then set three tasks -

1. Select a minimum of 2 Halloween Inspired Images below, these images will create your Halloween scene. You may have some of your own.

2. Use your images to create a sketch of your scene. When sketching, adapt the images inspired by Matisse’s ‘Cut Paper Collages’. This style shows shapes in their simplistic form. The shapes appear crudely cut and feature movement.

3. Follow the step by step instructions below, to create your Halloween Wall Hanger.

This worksheet is well presented and can be used as a classroom task, remote learning or set as a cover lesson. Students only need -

x1 Black Card or Paper
White pencil
Scissors
