Hand Washing Song

This hand washing song outlines steps for washing hands thoroughly (once they have been wet and soap applied). If sung when washing hands it will help children to follow the correct steps and spend the recommended amount of time hand washing. The children could decorate the song with hand prints and take it home or use it for a display. Would work well with the story “Wash your hands” by Tony Ross. Was prompted to write this song because of advice on coronavirus that the appropriate time to spend hand washing was as long as it took to sing Happy Birthday twice.
