These worksheets teaches the long vowel sounds as in “a” for acorn, “e” as in emu, “i” as in iron, “o” as in oval and “u”: as in unicorn. Visual imagery is used to teach the rule that if a word ends in “i” you must change it to a “y”. There is plenty of variety and the worksheets are fun and creative.
