A welcome back assembly for the new year. looking at the history of the new year with the Julian calendar starting the year at 1st Jan, then how the idea of the new year being 1st Jan changed in the middle ages. to the reintroduction with the new calendar led by the pope.
Then looking at how people celebrate, along with where the first celebrations are and then where the last are and the distance between them (less than 140 miles).
