Engaging students in conversations about emotions, empathy and perspectives can be difficult. This resource includes 30 real life, practical and relatable scenario’s which facilitate discussion, build emotional literacy and supports the development of empathy, understanding and perspectives of others.

This is a great supplement to any social emotional regulation curriculum.

Engaging students in conversations about emotions, empathy and perspectives can be difficult. This resource includes 30 real life, practical and relatable scenario’s which facilitate discussion, build emotional literacy and supports the development of empathy, understanding and perspectives of others.

This resource can be utilized as either an individual or group workbook or an interactive class lesson. The resource includes the following on each page:

  • one specific scenario
  • questions relating to that scenario (emotion - how would they feel questions?)
  • an area for students to write down notes and thoughts
  • 20 feelings and emotions with pictures of emotions in action. Students can explore each emotion as it relates to the scenario or attempt to isolate the emotions/feelings that can be attributed to that scenario.

This is an ideal resource for students with autism and/or learning difficulties who require some additional support developing social and emotional relating skills.
