A brief one-lesson assignment that asks students to both work in pairs and individually to produce a definition of politics. This definition would then be discussed with the larger class group. Meant as a first or second lesson introduction to the IB Global Politics course, although it could be used for A-Level or AP or any suitable course focused on politics. Originally meant for an IB Year 1 (Grade 11) class, it could be adapted to suit other grades as well. File is in PowerPoint format for simple downloading and printing or uploading to a VLE.
