Aimed at the higher level GCSE pupl, this is a phenomenal set of graphs in two formats:

Students are shown 42 different graphs and have to work out the equation of the graph using roots and intercepts.

I have used this Powerpoint for years and students always find it useful.

Graphs include:

  • Straight Lines
  • Quadratics
  • Cubics
  • Power curves
  • Square roots
  • Reciprocals
  • Trigonometrical
  • and even one Quartic.

You can, of course, rearrange the slides and take some of the more difficult questions out if you wish.

It is an excellent exercise or starter.

I have included the Powerpoint and the same 42 graphs on a PDF for tutors and revision.

These took a tremendous amount of work and are absolutely priceless.
