Imperfect tense conjugations and sentences (no collaboration or on-line translators)

For each verb type -ar, -er, -ir, write the correct conjugation using the word bank. Then, use the six conjugations and subjects (persons) to write an original 8 word sentence in the imperfect tense. Sentences must be 8 words minimum including the clue word (cada día etc). Note: Clue words that are 2 or 3 words (ex: todas las tardes) will count as one word only. Post the word count at the end of every sentence. Your sentences must make sense and should not be repetitive (using the same words over and over)

For sentences, clue words are provided at the beginning of every sentence.

For -ar, -er, -ir verbs, students will conjugate 18 verbs (6 per verb type) and write 18 original sentences. For ser, ir, ver, students will conjugate all 3 verbs for all six persons and write 3 sentences (one with each verb).

Verbs included:

-AR: caminar, jugar, nadar, escuchar, hablar, visitar

-ER: aprender, correr, comer, comprender, beber, leer

-IR: subir, abrir, asistir, vivir, escribir, recibir, salir

SER / IR / VER

Answer key is included for the conjugations only. For sentences, student answers will vary.

Pages 1-4 are the practice and pages 5-6 are the answer key for the conjugations.
