Integer Rules resource for students and parents!

This fold-up resource provides students with the rules for adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing integers.

Included in this packet is a four-flap fold-up. The fold-up explains the rule for each operation and provides examples of each. The teacher has two options for the inside of the fold-up. One option is completely filled in. The second option has empty example boxes for the students to fill in with problems of their own.

To assemble the fold-up, run a copy of the outside (p.3). The outside will appear to be upside-down. This is done intentionally for a proper fold-up. Next, choose the inside (either p. 4 or 5) and run it on the backside of the outside. Next, with the inside face up, bring the bottom of the page up to the center black line and fold. Then, bring the top of the page down to the center black line and fold. Finally, cut on the 2 dotted lines. The end result should be a four-flap fold up.

I have also included to 2-sided worksheet to use with students. Also, included is an answer key.
