Introduction to UK Landscapes and Relief Coastal GCSE

A lesson to introduce GCSE students to the UK relief and landscapes. Included is a lesson plan that you can adapt to your needs, lesson presentation and writing frame for the writing activity,

This lesson begins with a definition matching starter, introduced the idea of a landscape and applies it to coastal landscapes, a quick quiz and the main activity of a memory mapping exercise.

For the memory mapping, I used a relief map of the UK that the school already owned, however, they are easy to find on google if your school doesn’t already have one.
