An activity I use to teach students about Joe Casely Hayford - a british fashion designer. This activity enables students to make a mind map about Joe as they watch a video about him. His work is covered in Edexcel Design and Technology GCSE qualification
Students are required to:
- Watch a video about him
- Write as many key facts about him as they can
- There is also an extension activity where students read through a fact file and add information from there about him.
After the activity there is a slide with questions which enables students to discuss what they have learned about him!
