Summary of passage
Johann Sebastian Bach, a famous musician born in Germany in 1685, came from a family of musicians and began playing music as a child. Bach became a renowned composer, writing beautiful pieces for various instruments, choirs, and orchestras. His music remains popular today, even though he lived centuries ago. One of his most famous compositions, “Toccata and Fugue in D minor,” is often used in spooky or mysterious scenes in movies and TV shows. Bach’s exceptional skills on the organ attracted audiences from far and wide, and he worked as an organist in a church. He also taught music to students and had 20 children of his own. Sadly, Bach only gained fame after his death, and he is now considered one of the greatest composers of all time. His music continues to be cherished and performed worldwide.
