This powerpoint contains a full lesson on how to create and write magazines. It would be suitable for most KS3 English classes and a lower ability KS4 class.

It is largely interactive and contains several activities for students to work through with the eventual aim of creating their own magazine front cover and contents page. It has strong cross-curricular links with ICT and Media Studies.

The powerpoint covers the different types of magazine, features of magazines and adapting their content according to audience and format.
