This unit of work will teach pupils about how computers use binary to process data. Pupils will be introduced to techniques to convert between binary and denary, convert from denary to binary and to add two binary numbers together. Pupils will also learn the different computing sizes and the different number base systems that exist including base 2 and base 10 number systems. Pupils will also have the opportunity to look at flowcharts, images and pixels.
