This is a complete lesson on series and parallel circuits that I prepared for a Y10 class. Start off by recalling and describing series circuits relationships in terms of current voltage and resistance. Group works through first part of worksheet and the group share their answers. Parallel circuit relationships are then discussed using PPT example and group works through second part of worksheet and share their answers.
The calculation of resistance in parallel 1/Rt = 1/R1 + 1/R2 + … is described at the end.
