Objective: Future proche, using SI, and making future plans depending on the weather.
Setting the scene: Designed as a complete standalone to cover pages 80+81 of Studio Foundation. In this lesson, half way through, a “fake” Skype call happens, and I (Mr Mansfield) call my class from home and ask them about what they have planned (videos are included). Anyone else can just pretend it’s their friend. The lesson also makes reference to a poem that was previously covered (included) but it is not critical to have done the poem.
Additionally, at the beginning of the lesson, a student can be asked to “control” the satellite which zooms onto France and displays the weather for the météo task. This is fun and the outgoing students really enjoy this aspect.

Additional instructions: Print slides 11 and 12 and hand them out to students to use in class.
