LA DEPENDANCE year 9/GCSE French (addictions, facts about France, authentic French material)

The lesson starts by teaching vocabulary on a range of addictions then moving on o practising this vocabulary in two high level reading tasks.
The lesson then focuses about ‘le tabac en France’ using some authentic French anti-tabac campains and adverts to push students using more difficult content. This is a good opportunity to discuss coping strategies that are needed at GCSE level.
