Land Use - New Forest vs Amazon Rainforest - Lesson 3

This lesson could be a stand alone or a follow on from the two sessions about Brazil vs England and the Countries of South America.

This lesson looks at how land in the New Forest is used and managed, compared with Land in the Amazon Rainforest. This lesson is designed under the KS2 Geography NC Statement:

Describe and understand key aspects of human geography, including: types of settlement and land use, economic activity
including trade links, and the distribution of natural resources including energy,
food, minerals and water

This lesson leads directly into the Trade Links Lesson, which looks at that the Land in the amazon is then used for, after it has been logged/burnt.
