Laws of Indices PICTURE ACTIVITY

In this activity, students will simplify expressions using index laws as they engage their creative side! Students will simplify expressions involving multiplying, dividing, and raising powers of powers. These are simple questions to support students and allow them to practice using different index laws. They will follow the directions for each exercise and fill the appropriate box with patterns, drawings, and creative ideas. The students will create their own colourful masterpieces as they reinforce their algebra skills. You will be able to quickly check for understanding as the students draw and colour. This flexible activity allows students to stretch their imagination while reinforcing important algebra concepts.

This no-prep activity is an excellent resource for enrichment/reinforcement, early finishers, and extra practice with some fun. The completed work can be used for display to allow students to show off their art skills as well as their maths skills.
