This presentation is the full unit of work for Unit 3- The Principles of Early Year's Practice for the BTEC Level 2 Children's Play, Learning and Development qualification.
The powerpoint aims to deliver the four learning aims for the unit:
A understand the importance of inclusive practice in early years
B explore ways in which early years settings implement inclusive practice
C understand how children are empowered in early years settings
D understand the importance of the key person approach in supporting children’s
development.
The presentation includes assessment criteria, a range of activities, templates, key questions and model answers for all four learning aims; it is suitable for all abilities but does have structured tasks for less able and stretch and challenge activities for the more able to aid your differentiation.
This resource was developed over a year of me teaching the unit and will save you hours of planning.
