Hi all,
This is a document of 31 slides of starters. The starters are aimed for Year 7 and Year 8, but could also be used for some high aiming Year 6 students.
The tasks range from match up tasks, to wring their own sentences incorporating key literary techniques. Each task has answers, (except the 2 open tasks which give space for class discussion).
These work great for starters but also they’ll work nicely as a retrieval task at the end of the lesson.
