Literacy: Four in a row template

This is an EDITABLE template to play four in a row. Just type one word in each of the 30 boxes from the sight words, or weekly spellings as required. You can repeat some words if students are struggling with them, or even incorporate two weeks spellings onto the one template.

You will need :
Completed template (laminated if desired)
30 counters of two different colours (e.g. 15 red, 15 yellow)
Dice

Working in pairs, roll the dice (e.g. 5) and then correctly read one of the words in the 5 column and place their counter on that word. The aim is then to get their four counters (of the same colour) in either a horizontal, vertical or diagonal direction.
