This breakout escape room is a fun way for students to test their skills with literary devices, set in a fun Halloween Theme. Given short passages, students must identify the character trait that best describes the character in the passage. Given definitions and examples, students must identify the type of literary device that was used. Students then use decoder puzzles to turn their answers into a 4 digit code and advance level by level to break out of the game.
