LKS2 INFORMATION TEXT PLANNING, COLOUR CODED MODEL, BOX UP PLANNING, VOLCANOES

A 5 week English unit of work on Information Texts, suitable for LKS2, uses many strategies from Pie Corbett’s ‘Talk for Writing’ approach including box up planning and colour-coded model text. This model text is on the topic of Volcanoes which links to Geography. Planning includes outdoor learning, SMSC objectives, differentiation and key objectives.

NB: I did not write the ‘Volcanoes’ text. I created this from research and colour-coded it myself.
