I have made a deliberately clunky representation of this, using gel-pen type colours. Just the sort of thing to amuse some sixth formers. Relish its unprofessionalness. I do. UPDATE: link added to movie on YouTube of hydrolysis reaction.

This is a great little animation. From a personal point of view I would have liked the product to be shown as being a new molecule (all one thing) rather than looking like it is two bits just joined, but that's just me.<br /> <br /> It would also be good to have an animation that showed enzymes splitting a substrate into two products as well
