Lone Journey to Freedom is a testimony resource provided by the National Holocaust Centre and Museum; it is the testimony of Bernard Grunberg, one of our survivor speakers.
It can be used as an introduction to the Holocaust as well as exploring concepts of testimony. It can be used as a stand-alone resource or in conjunction with further information on our website. Bernard left Germany in 1938 and came to England on the Kindertransport; his story is suitable for year five and six as well as older children.
