A full lesson based around the witches' poem/spell in Act 4, Scene 1. Lesson could run into two lessons.
The lesson focusses on AO1, and 2 in the AQA English Literature spec with main focus on pupils being able to independently discuss the what the specific LO means and what the differences are between a level 4 and a level 5. Pupils are to then zoom in on the language and consider how to include this in an analytical paragraph.
The lesson is straight forward and easy to follow based on 3 learning objectives (based on Bloom's taxonomy) that demonstrate progress throughout with visually engaging resources.
Lesson includes:
• modelled response example
• success criteria based on AO in GCSE literature
• clear peer assessment focus
