Create a water mill to produce electricity and power an LED

In this exciting activity for primary students, kids will understand what is meant by, and the need for, renewable energy.

They will make and test a water mill that produces enough electricity to light an LED and learn how water wheels work. This engineering activity will show students how electricity can be generated using the power of moving water and teach students facts about how the ancient Greeks have affected modern life.
