Martin Luther King 2 Emergent Reader Booklets in English

Each booklet contains 8 pages: the title page and 7 additional pages, each containing a vocabulary word related to Martin Luther King's life. The words included are peace, pastor, speeches, "I have a dream...", bus boycott, Nobel Peace Prize and civil rights. Suggestions for using the emergent readers and an assembly instruction page are included. Martin Luther King Mini Books in English - 1 Illustrated, 1 Text Only - Students first cut, assemble and read the book containing text and illustrations. They then create their own version by sketching pictures in the text only template and can share their creations with their classmates and family members. The illustration version can be projected in class to present and review the vocabulary. The text only version can be projected onto the Smart Board and students can draw pictures that correspond to the text.
