Back to school KS1 maths fun! Get to know your new class through a creative maths activity in the first few days of the new school year. The activity asks children to represent how many people are in their family using a whole part model and their age using a ten frame. Create a ‘Maths about me’ display board. Use as a discussion activity for new to be taught in Year 1 or use as a revision activity for return to Year 2.
