This template can be used to introduce yourself to the children in your new class. It gives children the opportunity to get to know you before school starts in September, preparing them for the transition and reducing any first day nerves. This is particularly useful if you’re an NQT as most children won’t recognise who you are, as they would not have seen you around school or been able to meet you on a step up/transition day due to the restrictions of Covid-19.
