Students will examine various images from the medieval period which depict men in different situations. Students will brainstorm different ideas that come from the images and then answer some scaffolded questions to make further deductions. At the end there is a link to a short youtube clip which will expand on the role of Men in the Medieval period.

While the idea of exploring imagery and medieval life has merit, this resource provides a limited (and arguably limiting as the images don't embrace the full spectrum of life or conditions for men or women in the times) set of art works on one page and a few questions/responses on the next. There is a link to another website, but some of the further links from this website are blank or no longer available. The same applies to the Women in Medieval Times resource. As a "free" resource this would be fine, but the charge for a two page resource with two links is excessive when compared to the quality of the free resource material provided by others.
