Introduction of vocabulary
Ruler game: ask two students to come to the board to compete, the first one to point at the correct picture wins. You can ask 2 to volunteer to come and show what the game is about. Then the rest of the class can play in pairs. (laminate the slide).
Running dictation: (group work: one runner has to memorise what's in the survival bag, he/she should be timed and only has one minute to do so. He/she reports to his team. Extension task: as a group they translate what's in the bag. The team who has the full content of the survival bag wins. Print and stick to a wall where students cannot see.
