I am a teacher of PE and Senior Leader in an Outstanding school in London. I create meaningful, progressive and challenging resources. All resources are detailed teaching & exam prep resources for GCSE (AQA GCSE 9-1) and the A Level PE spec (2016 AQA). I am keen to share my knowledge and resources with other professionals.

This is an excellent value bundle of resources- which can be taught in 5-7 lessons.

A thoroughly planned unit work, including 6 comprehensive PowerPoint presentations, all accompanying lessons resources. This covers the entirety of unit 3.1.3.2.1- ‘The impact of sport on society and society on sport - Sociological theory applied to equal opportunities’. This is part of the Year 1, Paper 1 Sport & Society module, planned in line with the AQA A-Level PE spec first taught September 2016.

L1 - Key Terms - Socialisation & social control
L2 - Key terms - Stratification & social action theory
L3 - Barriers & benefits to health and society
L4 - Underrepresented groups - disability & ethnic minorities
L5 - Underrepresented groups - women & disadvantaged

All sessions link to Sport England and their role in improving the amount of people participation in physical activity.

As can be seen this unit of work also comes complete with 4 long answer question writing frames - these are extremely detailed which significantly improves students 8/15 marker exam technique in line with AQA guidance.

The lessons include all content required, inline with the spec. The lessons include differentiated learning activities through; discussion tasks, research tasks, analysis activities and independent learning activities. Exam questions are also included to test the student’s knowledge and understanding. The exam questions relate to the AO1, AO2 and AO3 assessment objectives.
