‘Switch’ on your classes with this easy to use and customizable quiz that works perfectly as a REVIEW activity, a reward activity, a BACK TO SCHOOL (or END OF TERM) treat or just an exciting way to practice questions on a topic / evaluate students’ ability. This fully customizable quiz activity is ideal for use in ONLINE or DISTANCE LEARNING classes and will keep players engaged from start to finish.
This is a Nintendo themed activity based around the video game Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The players of the game take the role of PLAYER 1 or PLAYER 2 (there are 2 versions of the activity) and choose a fighter from a selection of 42 characters. The characters for the other players are then ‘randomly’ chosen and the ‘fight’ begins. The question screen gives you a question (you have the option of revealing 4 optional answers if you wish). Alternatively you can just click to reveal the answer.
You can run the activity in a few different ways:
- Present the question and players guess the answer.
- Present the question and the answer options and players choose the correct one.
- Present the question and players choose a character, then you reveal the answers and they find out if they are correct.
All questions are timed with either 30-second or 1-minute timers, easily edited. Full instructions are provided and the activity has full audio and visual feedback just like the game.
