I always really struggle to find exemplar non-chronological reports, especially any suitable for upper KS2.
This is a non-chronological report that I wrote about blast-ended skrewts (a magical creature from the Harry Potter books). I used it with my bright year 5 class.
We used it as a model text to examine before the children wrote their own about mythical creatures.
