A whole set of non-fiction writing lessons with a space theme, complete with presentations, plans, checklists, sample texts and planning sheets for the children. These cover a series of different non-fiction genres and cover the new curriculum learning objectives:
- Discussing writing similar to that which they are planning to write in order to understand and learn from its structure, vocabulary and grammar
- Identifying the audience for and purpose of the writing, selecting the appropriate form and using other similar writing as models for their own.
