A Y7 SOW which aimed to get students to apply other Y7 Cz topics and understand them in context. It can also be the foundation for a campaign/active Cz project.
I found my students were fascinated by N. Korea, and it really got them to see why Cz topics like government (dictatorship, democracy) and human rights matter.

I tried this lesson various ways and never quite got it right - you may find a better way to use the resources than I did!
L3 - Introduction to the UN
L4 - UN and sanctions
L5 - Debate preparation and debate (needs two lessons! Far too crammed, but it was a short half term)
