OCR GCSE Drama - Presenting and Performing Texts
A work booklet with 11 tasks that students choosing the Costume Design option for Presenting and Performing Texts can work through. This would work as either independent work or as a homework activity. This booklet is tailored towards students creating costumes for two different characters - make up/hair/masks are not included.
Tasks range from initial research surrounding their play through to budgeting for their costume. It gives students suggestions into what evidence they can provide the examiner. It allows students to keep their notes/research/sketches in one place.
Stages of the booklet include (not all tasks mentioned here): Inital research, Character studies, First Designs, Actor Feedback, Budgeting and Dress Rehearsal.
