This is the first section of a whole scheme of work on Of Mice and Men, I created it this year, with attention to making sure that the Ofsted 2011 guidelines were being expemplified. The lessons structure reading the book from before reading to after and each of the early lessons covers different sectionhs of the book. They can all be taught togetether or you could choose to dip and pick as each can be adpated and can standalone. I can olny upload 20 bits to 1 resource feed, but the rest are on here.

I really liked the contextual and cultural background of the text. I am not well versed with the American history but I saw the learners very engaged as we went through the time lines of the text. Thank you very much for sharing.
