The activities allow the students to reflect on the story and extend their understanding of the themes within this text. There is one activity for each historical event mentioned in the book, with the exception of the Myall Creek pages and the bombing of Darwin page. The Gold Rush and Eureka Stockade pages share one worksheet. The activities are mostly writing activities, with one QR code activity that takes students to a video and some activities may require students to do further research in order to understand the events in more detail.
