A lesson which is designed for a year 9 to show them how to explore structural features for English Language Paper 1 AQA. Designed with the SAMS Carrie’s War paper (text also attached from AQA). it encourages students to use the key words ‘Focus’, ‘Changes’ ‘Contrasts’, ‘Develops’ and ‘Continues’ whilst responding to the text.
The lesson also uses a scene from the Hunger Games (hyperlink on the picture) to help students visually with this skill.
