New and Improved Station Cards (added 2)- 1-13-2016
The PE Football Stations are 20 fun filled, Gridiron football themed station cards that you can use in your school gymnasium , outdoor field or could be modified to be performed in a smaller space such as a classroom or empty cafeteria. Each football station card provides a football-related skill (i.e. throwing, catching, running with the ball, etc. and includes a brief instructional direction and a graphic that depicts the activity. The activities are standards-based and there are plenty of activities for you to choose from or for the students to take part in during multiple class periods or recess times if necessary. The stations work great as an activity for the weeks leading in to the Super Bowl or College Bowl Games.
These Football Stations are ideal for a physical education teacher to teach manipulative skills such as tossing, throwing and catching and developing movement skills such as dodging, agility and running while holding a ball. These stations were created to be “FUN” and your students will ask you to bring them out every year during a football unit or during prime, seasonal football times of the year!
The pictures depicted in this product display students dressed in football equipment. This is to enhance the look of the station cards and not to imply that students need to wear equipment to perform the stations….they do not!
